Plainting For a Family

With help from ITE, PA Canberra, Cahaya conducted an activity titled "Plainting For a Family” for our families over in both Kebun Baru and Yishun. This was an activity that required kids to think about what family meant to them and paint it on their pots. This marked the first of many of our plant growing activities in which kids would be able to watch as their seeds germinate.

In the end, we had prizes for Most Creative, Most Thoughtful, and Best Show N Tell. The event was also graced by the CEO of Blossom Seeds was our VIP judge. All of us were thoroughly amazed by the thought and creativity put in by our kids.

We especially liked what one of them said about what family meant,

”Family is when your cat scratches you but we still love them. It's when your little brother annoys you and we still love them."

How true indeed, and this quote embodies unconditional love really nicely. All of us are already looking forward to the second installment of this workshop!
